چکیده مقاله |
In recent decades, the production and use of pharmaceutical compounds for treatment human and veterinary diseases have increased rapidly. These compounds are finally released to the environment through pharmaceutical industries. Due to the toxic effects of pharmaceutical compounds for human and environmental health, direct and indirect discharges of pharmaceutical compounds into the environment and water resources have become one of the increasingly recognized emerging concerns in recent years. Effluent comprising pharmaceutical compounds should be treated by a proper process to avoid adverse effects on human and environment from contaminated waters [1]. For this case, different methods such as adsorption techniques was employed for the elimination of drugs from aqueous media. Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) exhibits reliable chemical and thermal stability; thus, it has strong potential to serve as efficient sorbent for removal applications [2]. Nanocelluloses (NCs) produced from cellulose as a natural biopolymer have various applications in different field because of their unique properties such as biocompatibility, surface reactivity, availability, low density, and cytotoxicity. Some features of nanocellulose such as its surface chemistry, morphology, aspect ratio, crystal structure, and the amount of crystallinity are depended to the source of the cellulose and preparation method [3]. Paracetamol, among other pharmaceutical products, pesticides, and herbicides, is of recent concern due to its persistence in the environment and the inefficacy of the biological oxidation treatment plants in the removal of this contaminant, which results in bioaccumulation and harmful consequences for ecosystems. ........................ |
